Creating inclusive and justice public schools

Observing the exclusion of children and their parents is a grave concern for us. Staying on our core-self, it empowered us to rely on our strengths to offer training workshops to the teachers and the parents of students to create an inclusive and justice environment at home, at school and in the community.

We focus in the workshop on both affirmative as well as improvement issues that are collected from both parents and teachers perspectives. We do so, In order to create a better appreciative understanding between parents and teachers. The result of the workshop is a reduction of the gap between parents and teachers. After the workshops, parents and teachers are organizing joint activities and working together. It has been improving the quality of education for needy children. There is a lot to do in public schools to make things more practical and making public schools a good place for children.

We have facilitated 45 days workshops in 28 school communities so far for parents and teachers. The workshops explored techniques and skills on inclusive education and inclusive classroom to the teachers and identified collaborative links between parents and teachers to have inclusive school. It helped to bring both communities and schools together so they can start working to improve their schools together.
