Working on making public schools inclusive

It was a great pleasure to facilitate workshops with teachers and parents different public schools in Sindhupalchook district of Nepal. We have facilitated two days workshops in each 6 schools which resulted to strengthen the relation between parents and teachers, identified good things in schools and improving issues. Both teachers and parents are working on the plan they made to make better schools for children.

The increasing engagement of parents including parents with destitute situations, encouraging teachers to become more responsible. BIKALPA is supportive in promoting an inclusive school system with Inclusive classroom management. We focus in the workshop on both affirmative as well as improvement issues that are collected from both parents and teachers perspectives. We do so, In order to create a better appreciative understanding between parents and teachers. The result of the workshop is a reduction of the gap between parents and teachers. Parents and teachers are organizing joint activities and working together. It has been improving the quality of education for needy children.
